Select 3 quotations from the book Unbroken: briefly explicate (explain and analyze) them, and then compare them with how the film portrays the scenes or ideas in them. Your response should be a developed short essay of around 500 words rather than three separate responses, and it should have a thesis claim that unifies it (Hint: your thesis claim could address one of the American traits we have focused on in class).
