Your e-portfolio should include the following components: 1. Introduction • Provide a brief overview of your service-learning experience. • Include information about the service site, your role, and the community you served. • Explain why you chose this service site and what you hoped to gain from the experience. ( I will give a brief explanation of why I chose this specific service site) 2. Reflections • Reflect on your experience and what you learned. • Share specific examples of challenges you faced, successes you achieved, and how you overcame obstacles. • Describe any personal or professional growth you experienced due to your service learning. 3. Evidence of Learning • Include artifacts demonstrating your learning and growth during your service-learning experience. • This can include photos, videos, audio recordings, written reflections, and other materials showcasing your work and impact. (In this case you can do written reflection) 4. Community Effect • Describe the effect of your service on the community and/or individuals you served. • Share any feedback or testimonials you received from the community or your service site supervisor. 5. Future Plans • Describe how your service-learning experience has influenced your plans, personally or professionally. • Share any plans for continued involvement in the community or related activities. (My future goals and plans involve becoming a registered nurse.) Your e-portfolio should be visually engaging and well-organized. Use multimedia elements such as images and videos to enhance your presentation. Be creative and have fun! Your e-portfolio should be concise and well-organized while providing a comprehensive overview of your learning experiences, accomplishments, and skills. It should generally be no longer than 10 to 15 content pages. You can even just do the basics and I can go in and add the multimedia elements such as images and videos to enhance the presentation.
